Micro-Host ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Micro-Host mobile application (the "App"), a property management tool designed for small short-term rental hosts in Greece. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our App.

We are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and applicable Greek data protection law.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account & Identity Data

When you create an account, we collect: Full name, Email address, Greek Tax Identification Number (ΑΦΜ / AFM) — collected optionally, used for AADE (ΑΑΔΕ) tax declaration support, and preferred language.

3.2 Property Data

When you add properties to the App, we collect: Property name and type, location/address, AMA Number (Αριθμός Μητρώου Ακινήτου), and iCal calendar source URLs.

3.3 Booking Data

Booking records may contain guest names, check-in/out dates, revenue, and status. Bookings may be imported automatically via iCal feeds you configure.

3.4 Financial Data

We collect financial records you enter or that are derived from bookings, including revenue figures and related metadata.

3.5 Cleaning & Operations Data

If you use the cleaning management feature, we store cleaning task assignments, schedules, and cleaner names/contact details you choose to enter.

3.6 Guest Portal Data

Content you create for your guest portal is stored and served through a unique, token-protected URL.

3.7 Technical & Usage Data

We may collect standard server-side technical data, including API request timestamps and error logs.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide and operate the Micro-Host App, sync booking calendars, support AADE workflows, display financial summaries, enable cleaning task management, and generate your guest portal.

We do NOT sell your data or use it for advertising.

6. Data Sharing

We may share data with service providers (hosting, database) who process data on our behalf under GDPR obligations, or if required by legal obligation (e.g., AADE).

7. Data Retention

  • Account data Duration of your account, plus 30 days
  • Booking/Financial Up to 5 years (Greek tax law)
  • Technical logs Up to 90 days

8. Data Security

We implement technical measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), authentication controls, and token-protected guest portal URLs.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction, Portability, and Objection.

10. Third-Party iCal Feeds

The App can import booking data from third-party iCal feeds. We process this data solely to populate your booking calendar. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party platforms.
